Hi, I’m Karinna , a mum, nutrition geek, and someone who’s learned first-hand just how powerful food can be. Clean Plate Life started as my own journey to feel better. I was tired of feeling sluggish, overwhelmed, and watching my family struggle with mood swings, focus issues, and energy crashes that didn’t make sense. No one seemed to have real answers, until I looked at what was on our plates. Through small, simple changes, swapping processed foods for real ones, cutting back on sugar, and focusing on gut health, everything started to shift. My son, who had been struggling with focus and emotional ups and downs, became calmer, happier, and more himself. And for me, eating clean became less about restriction and more about freedom, the kind that comes from feeling good in your body and knowing you’re giving your family the best shot at health and balance. Now, Clean Plate Life is here to help other families do the same. It’s not about perfection, it’s about progress. About finding what works for you, understanding how food affects mood, focus, and hormones, and making healthy eating actually doable in real life. If you’ve ever felt stuck, tired, or just not quite “yourself,” you’re in the right place. Because a clean plate isn’t just about food, it’s about a cleaner mind, a calmer home, and a happier life.

I have always considered myself to live and eat quite healthily but when I became a vegetarian I have to admit it was hard to keep the amount of carbs down, replacing meat with meat substitutes made me actually gain weight, this is a new way of being vegetarian, whole foods and no rubbish. For me it was just what I needed
